THE STREETS
Millions of people are found on the streets each day. Regardless of how governments, churches, NGOs and some concerned individuals have tried in curtailing streetism, the figure grows day in day out. 38.01% of children under age 15 constitute children on the streets. This violates the children’s act which states; ‘’under no circumstance should a person below the age of fifteen be allowed to work or fend for him or herself’’.

Adaklu-seva
A visit to the Adaklu Seva primary school in May 2018 visualized students coming to school in tattered uniform and barefooted.
Book-a-rung-project
Many young people struggle with reading and literary comprehension and those who love to read often do not have the resources to do so.
Charity-on-the-streets
In collaboration with Jemikris we embarked on a charity walk to provide a day’s meal for the less privileged on the streets of Accra.
